THE WORD FOR TODAY
( RESULTS OF LAZINESS)

Text:2 Thessalonians 3; 10-11 ” For even when we were with you, we commanded you this,, if anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.(11) For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, nor working at all, but are busybodies.
MESSAGE
A lazy person cannot fulfil destiny in life. Laziness is the father of procrastination. The end result of a lazy man is poverty, mockery and shame. Laziness makes her victims slaves and beggars. Nobody will entrust money or properties in hands of a lazy man.
Apostle Paul a good example, he worked tirelessly in his own time. he was a missionary, a great preacher of the gospel, says” if anyone will not work, neither shall he eat, and also a great tent maker. God Himself worked for six days and rested only one day after He created man and made everything available in the garden of Eden. He gave man work to care for the garden . Jesus our Savior also worked, He took thirty years to prepare for the ministry of three and half years. In ( John 9:4) He said I must work the work of him that sent me while it is day, for night cometh when no man can work.
Laziness is a curse in disguise. A lazy man cannot fulfil a vision in life. God hates laziness and cannot bless a lazy person. Even giving food and assistance to the lazy and idle persons amount to breaking God”s instruction.
Your fulfilment in life is in your work. God can only bless you through your hand work. Stop procrastinating , do something worthwhile today to have a brighter future.
PRAYER POINTS
(1) I bless the name of the Lord who made me to see the breaking of the new day.
(2) Thanks for Your daily provisions
(3) I command, spirit of laziness loose your hold over my life today, in the name of Jesus
(4) Arrow of laziness fired into my body, get out by fire, in the name of Jesus.
(5) Spirit of procrastination, your time is up in my life, loose your grips over me now, in the name of Jesus.
(6) My Father, bless my hand work , in the name of Jesus.
(7) I decree and declare that I will never labour for someone to harvest, in the name of Jesus.
(8) My Father, over bless me as You blessed Abraham, in the name of Jesus.
(9) O Lord My Father, give me generational blessings, in the name of Jesus.
(10) My Father, open windows of financial breakthrough for me, in the name of Jesus.
