WHO CAN STAND IN GOD’S PRESENCE AND PRAY?

TEXT Psalm 65:2 ” O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.
MESSAGE
He is a God who hears and answers the prayer of His children. Prayer is a means of communicating to God and it is also a way to create a communion with God. It is not everyone who knocks the door that the door opens for except those who has the key to the door. Many people are stranded outside the door because they don’t have the keys. Only those who have the keys to the door can enter.
Brethren, it is not everyone that can stand in the presence of God and pray. There are requirements and conditions to be met before we can receive answers to our prayers.
psalm:15:1-2 says “Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? (2) He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
Many people are praying earnestly but only few ones receive answers to their prayers. Why? Failure to meet up with the conditions.
Have this at the back of your mind, God hears all prayers we are praying to Him both saints and sinners but does not answer all prayers. Why? There are conditions to be met.
CONDITIONS FOR A PERSON TO STAND IN GOD’S PRESENCE AND PRAY.
(1) Recognition of the fact that God is the only one that answers prayer ( psalm 65;2)
(2) Assurance of being born again (John 3:3-5)
(3) Walketh uprightly before God brings results of prayer.(Psalm 15:1
(4) Worketh righteousness before God daily (psalm15:2) ( holiness must be your watch word)
(5) Ability to stand on the truth only, without compromising.( Let your Yes be Yes and your No be No
(6) Have faith in God that He is answering prayer.( James 1:6-8) But let him ask in faith,nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.(verse7) For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.(verse 8) A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
(7) Know how to praise Him(psalm 119:164)
PRAYER POINTS
(1) How wonderful is Your name 0 Lord among other gods !.
(2) Thanks for the breaking of the new day you made me and my family to witness.
(3) My Father, help me to do Your Will, in the name of Jesus.
(4) Release Your power upon me O Lord to be a man of prayer
(5) Endow me with Your power of prevailing prayer, in the name of Jesus.
(6) Father, answer my prayers today, in the name of Jesus.
(7)O Lord, frustrate the plans of my enemies, in the name of Jesus.
(9) All things shall work together for my good today, in the name of Jesus.
(10) God will make all things to fall in place for my lifting today, in the name of Jesus.
