WHAT PRAYER CAN DO

TEXT James 5:17 “Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain : and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
MESSAGE
Prayer is the master key that unlocked every closed door. There is no door that prayer cannot open. Prayer can do all things. There is no mountain that prayer cannot move. Jericho wall fell down flat as result of prayer and the children of Israel took over city( Joshua 6;20) So the people shouted when the priests blew the with the trumpets :and it came to pass , when the people heard the sound of the trumpets, and the people shouted with a great shout ,that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
The above scripture makes us to believe that prayer can move every mountain before you and I. The children of Israel didn’t use any physical instruments to conquer Jericho but they used spiritual weapons
of authority in prayers to conquer Jericho and they took over the City. Do you know you can conquer your challenges through prayer?
WHAT PRAYER CAN DO
(1) Prayer makes you to become a friend of God.. Every prayerful man works and walks with God.
(2) Prayer brings healing (2Kings 2:20-21)
(3) Prayer gives someone Victory . The children of Israel
(4) Prayer opens every closed door for someone ( Paul and Silas in the prison) ( Acts 16:25–32
(5) Prayer turns negative things to positive things ( evil curses to blessings)
(6) Prayer protects ( No evil can claim a man of prayer.
(7) Prayer gives someone audience ( A man of prayer people listens to him)
(8) prayer brings favour to someone that can pray
(9) Prayer makes a way where there is no way.
(10) Prayer gives power ( A prayerful man is a powerful man)
PRAYER POINTS
(1) Blessed Redeemer, You are worthy of my praise!
(2) How excellent is Your name O Lord!
(3) My Father, empower me today to move every mountain before me, in the name of Jesus.
(4) My Father, give me power and authority to overcome my challenges, in the name of Jesus.
(5) Every mountain before me and my family be leveled today, in the name of Jesus.
(6) Father, build in me engine of prayer, in the name of Jesus.
(7) Power of prevailing prayer come upon now , in the name of Jesus.
(8) Where is God of Elijah? Vomit Your fire inside me, in the name of Jesus.
(9) My Father, let my day be resourceful and rewarded, in the name of Jesus.
(10) My Good Father, make me a reference point to my generation, in the name of Jesus.
